Major gospel act to watch out for in 2018 | Alfred fighting his way to the top

Alfred Thompson popularly known as Min Alfred,  is right now amongst the list of gospel acts to watch out for this year. This young gospel star is a student of economics in University of Calabar, Calabar. He will be signed in officially to Innovation House Calabar by march this year. Min Alfred is well known for his musical prowess and genuine concepts. In a recent interview with this gospel star, he made it known to us that he's got a whole lot for the gospel industry this year. He said;
            "I'm working on a whole lot of new stuffs and will be dropping them this year. Trust me, you    ain't seen nothing like it. We need to change our attitude and concepts to make our music sell. You can't dwell on same old concept for 5years and expect to still have value.Also i'd advice we quit the imitation stuff. Ones a gospel act does something, everybody wants to do the same thing, that's not cool at all. I'm here to change the gospel music industry, and because of my new concepts that i'll be releasing, lots of artistes will go  back to their drawing board. I may not be worshiping in a major denomination, but there's one thing i've always believed, Its not about the church you attend, if you've got it in you, you've got it. I'm believing God to take me to the top."

Gospel singers are maltreated in Nigeria | Adegoke laments

In a brief chat with Potpourri, Adegoke who just recently released a single, Onise Iyanu, featuring his wife, Favour Adeyemi, explained that gospel music in Nigeria is worthwhile but gospel singers need to understand what gospel music is about. “I think it is important we understand what gospel music is. I will rather say that gospel music in Nigeria is worthwhile but with its own challenges. One of the challenges is that we have a lot of people who do not understand that being a gospel singer is a calling and not just a hubby.
