Port Harcourt based Gospel spoken words act Princess Amasi, in a recent interview, revealed her great plans for 2020.... She said;

       "Like i've been telling everyone that comes my way, this year is about the ministry in totality. Whatever its going to cost me, i'll ensure by God's grace, that i push the messages God has given me, even to the ends of the earth. Sincerely speaking, i don't think there'll be any spare time for rest. It's going to be work, work, work.... Its not by might, i'm so conscious of the truth that the Holy Spirit is ever there to strengthen and quicken me... This year, i'll also be building the "Princess Amasi" brand. In fact, its a projects-loaded year."

Gospel singers are maltreated in Nigeria | Adegoke laments

In a brief chat with Potpourri, Adegoke who just recently released a single, Onise Iyanu, featuring his wife, Favour Adeyemi, explained that gospel music in Nigeria is worthwhile but gospel singers need to understand what gospel music is about. “I think it is important we understand what gospel music is. I will rather say that gospel music in Nigeria is worthwhile but with its own challenges. One of the challenges is that we have a lot of people who do not understand that being a gospel singer is a calling and not just a hubby. This is the reason we have mix multitude in the gospel music industry today; fame and money are what they are after”, he opined.
