This young gospel star is a student of economics in University of Calabar, Calabar. He will be signed in officially to Innovation House Calabar by march this year. Popular gospel singer and the initiator of the #halleluyahChallenge, a midnight praise, and worship session, Nathaniel Bassey, has said he believes in tithing regardless of the session of the bible that supports the doctrine. Mr. Bassey weighed into the controversial subject through a post on his Instagram handle where he opined that it does not matter whether the doctrine of tithing is from the old testament or the new testament but he loves “God too much to argue about one small fraction of what he has blessed me with”. Utter wickedness | fraudsters impersonates gospel boss Kurt Carr

Award-winning gospel artiste Kurt Carr has become victim of a cyber hoax. Carr's identity has been used by scam artiste who has used fake social media pages, email addresses and a google voice telephone number to contact fellow artistes, preachers, promoters and fans in an effort to fraudulently receive money and have pretend conversations. The elaborate online hoax includes a petition to solicit money for a non existent African charity as well.     "It's unfortunate to think that someone would attempt to  use my identity to contact people in an effort to scam them. I'm working with authorities to ensure that the scam artiste is uncovered and faces the necessary consequences." Kurt Carr says. Rapper Snoop Dogg made some noise in Christendom this week by releasing his first ‘Gospel’ song. ‘Words Are Few’ is the first release from Snopp Dogg’s latest album which is expected to have a gospel tone throughout. The song features gospel artist B-Slade (formerly TonĂ©x) who joins Snoop to discuss the conflict of wanting to serve God whilst being tempted by other vices.
