Gospel fuji ambassador Sammy Wonders, who recently got an award as the most distinguished gospel artiste in the Niger-Delta is at it again. This time it's far different from what it has always been. At this same time last year, gospel fuji ambassador Sammy Wonders was preparing for the flaming Oyigbo praise festival. This year it's a bit hotter as Sammy Wonders plans to burn down Oyigbo with hot fire of praise that has never been seen yet. In a recent interview with Sammy, he disclosed his spiritual and physical readiness for the praise festival. He said;
"I'm ever ready anyday or anytime to lead the people of God into an athmospheric uproar. #OhMyJesu!  This time the people of Oyigbo won't forget this experience so easily. I will make sure i burn down Oyigbo with fireful praise like never before. As many that will be there, will certainly come back with a testimony. #OhMyJesu! You can praise God in such a way and he don't turn things around for you. If you have a doubt, ask about David in the bible. I and my team will be there life and direct. Just try your best to make sure you don't miss out of this great experience, cos it comes once in a year."

Gospel singers are maltreated in Nigeria | Adegoke laments

In a brief chat with Potpourri, Adegoke who just recently released a single, Onise Iyanu, featuring his wife, Favour Adeyemi, explained that gospel music in Nigeria is worthwhile but gospel singers need to understand what gospel music is about. “I think it is important we understand what gospel music is. I will rather say that gospel music in Nigeria is worthwhile but with its own challenges. One of the challenges is that we have a lot of people who do not understand that being a gospel singer is a calling and not just a hubby. This is the reason we have mix multitude in the gospel music industry today; fame and money are what they are after”, he opined.
