Award-winning gospel artiste Kurt Carr has become victim of a cyber hoax. Carr's identity has been used by scam artiste who has used fake social media pages, email addresses and a google voice telephone number to contact fellow artistes, preachers, promoters and fans in an effort to fraudulently receive money and have pretend conversations. The elaborate online hoax includes a petition to solicit money for a non existent African charity as well.     "It's unfortunate to think that someone would attempt to  use my identity to contact people in an effort to scam them. I'm working with authorities to ensure that the scam artiste is uncovered and faces the necessary consequences." Kurt Carr says. Rapper Snoop Dogg made some noise in Christendom this week by releasing his first ‘Gospel’ song. ‘Words Are Few’ is the first release from Snopp Dogg’s latest album which is expected to have a gospel tone throughout.
